A rare congenital abnormality of the pancreas, where pancreating tissue forms a ring around the lower DUODENUM. Affected indivduals may also have duodenal stenosis and INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION. Familial studies suggest autosomal dominant inheritance. OMIM: 167750
