A hereditary autosomal dominant type of severe bladder exstrophy characterized by the involvement of the infraumbilical abdominal, pelvis, urinary tract, and external genitalia. Affected patients experience URINARY INCONTINENCE; PHYSIOLOGICAL SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION, and chronic or recurring URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS that result in RENAL FAILURE. OMIM: 600057
