A form of tubulointerstitial nephritis characterized by the infiltration of MONONUCLEAR LEUKOCYTES; GLOMERULONEPHRITIS, and reversible kidney failure. Immunologic effects include circulating IMMUNE COMPELXES and non-caseating GRANULOMAS; and laboratory tests reveal elevated urinary microglobulin and elevated seum creatinine. There is a high association with the HLA-DRB1*0102 allele. OMIM: 607665
