from a chimeric H-2Hd/Kk gene; contains the extracellular alpha 1 domain of Kd orgin whereas the rest of the molecule is of Kk orgin; functions as a restriction element of alloreactive & influenza A-specific cytoxic T lymphocytes but is only weakly expressed t the cell surface of splenocytes
